I got my concessionary card (a discount card type of thing) for all the local leisure centres so all I have to do now is book my gym induction so I can go to the gym on a regular basis. I'm really nervous about it, I went in the gym the other day to get my card and it was full of all these skinny fit people, I don't want to get there and be the only fat one, huffing and puffing my way through even the gentlest of exercise, sweating buckets! I'm fitter then I was when I started but I find it all a little embarrassing. I feel that when I get there and start exercising everyone will be watching me, I know they probably won't be but I get really paranoid!
But I am going to book my induction and go to the gym, I think I'll stick to the women only sessions though.

Going to the gym can be very challenging for ones that are overweight for the fear that you are the center of attention. I too dont like going to the gym. It may be more beneficail to you if you go to a school and just do walks. It is free both financially and mentally. Keep me posted as to your weight management. Also I have a posting on my blogged titled "dying to lose weight" come check it out!
Take care of yourself because no one else is going to do that for you.
